Type 13F3

Composition	Sleeving of glass plait (400° C) Polyurethanic paint (155° C)
Thermal properties	Working Temperature: class F 155° C, peaks at 170° C The fireproof glass plait guaranteees the insulation at 1000 V, before impregnation The 13F3 sheath does not propagate the flame It tolerates weldings.
Electrical properties	Nominal voltage: 500 V. Breakdown voltage at 100° C Max. 3000 V.
Chemical properties	Good waterproof characteristics and resistance to steam and to all corosive and climatic agents normally found in electrical constructions Good resistance to oils and good adhesion to all classical paints in class F. The F13 steath is not attacked by mildew and mushrooms
Mechanical properties	Good paint elasticity Good resistance to bendings and repeated stresses Excellent resistance to ageing

Type 21C - 21F

Composition	21C - Plait of glass wire impregnated with white siliconic paint 21F1 - Plait of glass wire impregnated with black siliconic paint
Thermal properties	Working Temperature : 200° C, peaks at 350° C. The sheath is totally fireproof It tolerates weldings
Electrical properties	Breakdown voltage at 100° C: 800 - 1000 V.
Chemical properties	This sleeving withstands most chemical products It supports impregnation of all classical paints in class B and F.H. It cannot be attacked by mushrooms and mildew This impregnated sleeving is not waterproof
Mechanical properties	Flexible sheath Good resisteance to bendings and repeated stresses Avoid rubbing on metal corners

Type 15C

Composition	Wire plait of glass (400° C) Silicone rubber (250° C)
Thermal properties	Working Temperature -60° to + 200° C, peaks at 280° C The fireproof glass plait guaranteees the insulation at more than 280° C,before soaking with the silicone rubber. The sleeving does not propagate the flame It tolerates weldings very well
Electrical properties	Nominal voltage 500 V Breakdown voltage after 10 hours at 90% of relative humidity: 15 C1,5 : 1000 to 1500 Volts Red color 15 C2,5 : 2000 to 3000 Volts Red color 15 C4 : 1300 to 4000 Volts Red color
Chemical properties	Watertight, withstands steam, alchaline, saline and ozonic solutions, UV Radiations, Acetone, Alcohol, Ether, Fats It tolerates sprinkles of hydrocarbons and mineral oils It cannot be attacked by mushrooms and mildew

Type 15C UL RATED

Composition	Silicone rubber (7500 V)
Thermal properties	Operating temperature: -60° +200° C.
Electrical properties	Nominal voltage 600 V Average breakdown voltage - before thermal aging: 10400 V - after 7 days at 265 °C : 12800 V - after 60 days at 265 °C: 12800 V
Chemical properties	Humidity resistance: after 336 hours at 70° C. no softening Resistance to hydrocarbons: - after 96 hours at 100° C in ASTM oil no. 2: 16000 V - after 1440 hours at 80° C in ASTM oil no. 2: 16200 V Excellent resistance to impregnation varnishes and resins
Mechanical properties	Cold bend test: after 1 hour at -30° C no cracks Peak tempeerature: withstands perfectly well several hours at 265° C Self-extinguishing VW-1 (sleeving in vertical position)
Applications	Ideal thermal and electrical insulating material for points and appliances operating at high temperatures with thermal overcharges. Combines the good mechanical resistance of fiberglass braid with the flexibility, chemical stability and dielectric strength of silicone elastomer
